Importance of Title Tag in SEO - SEO Clarity They're doing a quick video to show you how important, um, title tags are. Uh, one of my clients, uh, was not ranking in organic. I got him ranking in a three-pack really well, organic just was not coming around. I'm talking second, third page. And this went on. This has gone on for quite a while. I completely redid the website. A new template went through it. Each page had at least 1200 words, pictures, blah, blah, blah, and Greg for a little bit, then it disappeared. Um, back to second and third pages yesterday, I, uh, saw it in the SERPs and I, I really don't look in the SERPs a lot for client pages. I always look in my analytical software. It may, you know, do some good to look in the SERPs and see what Google is saying. But when I saw it, there was no title tag to speak up and Google was pulling something off the second, you know, the services pages. So I went in and looked and I hadn't filled out my rank map title. Uh, maybe didn't even know that I needed to do that. I thought maybe it just pulled it automatically, but it does it didn't. I don't know if it does or if it did never does, but it didn't. And I kinda had like home for my, uh, title tag on my homepage. Um, so yesterday I went in and changed it to keyword city state, and then brand brand is extremely important. Title tag apparently is extremely important or title and brand is probably just as important because everything is going to branding these days. If you follow the, the SEO education and the talk, but as you can see here, this is overnight, this is overnight changes. I had one down here that gained 50 points here at the bottom, but most of these gain 30 points overnight. And now we're back on the first page and you know, some really good spots here. Um, there's a three or 4, 4, 4 or five, you know, there was like five or six in the top five. So we're back in action, but it's only because I changed one thing and that's the title tag. And as soon as I did, I put it in the indexer, a sin bite, S I N B Y T E, and then it, uh, it submits it immediately using, uh, the AP Google API. You might want to check that index route if you need something to index quickly. But, uh, this is dramatic for me, a little mistake I made and soon as I fixed it, uh, I mean, it was, it was a deal killer. The title was a deal killer because I could not rank, uh, you know, without that fix. So you might want to put in your standing operating procedure, title tag, you know, is in this case was a hundred percent, you know, uh, it killed, killed every, every page on my site.
